With more than 100 field trucks, including eight lube trucks, Wheeler can service your equipment quickly and efficiently no matter the location. Each field service truck has remote access to Caterpillar's entire technological library and to Wheeler’s team of technical communicators. Equipped with overhead cranes, air compressors and full tooling, including basic diagnostic equipment, Wheeler’s trucks are ready to get your machine back to work. Several trucks are outfitted to handle in-field welding operations as well.

When calling for field service, help Wheeler better serve you by having the following information available:

• Make and model of machine and serial number
• The name of the part or component that requires service, if known
• Accurate, specific description of the problem. If you have an oil leak, indicate the color of the oil and where it is leaking. By providing a good description of the problem, the field tech can be better prepared to solve it
• Clear, detailed directions to the location of the machine
